Newcastle United are set to battle with Fulham for the signing of Swansea City attacker Jordan Ayew this summer, according to Ghana web.
Ayew performed well for the Swans last season scoring 11 goals in all competitions, but was unable to stop them from being relegated to the Championship.

Fulham, who are preparing for life in the top flight, have already seen a bid rejected of £8 million as the South Wales club value the player nearer to £13 million.
Newcastle are looking for a new striker to lead their line next season after struggling to find a consistent player in this position for much of the last campaign.
Ayew does not want to play in the Championship and is keen to remain in the Premier League. The report claims Swansea do expect to lose the player over the summer as part of their squad overhaul under new manager Graham Potter.
