Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez is looking to sign a new forward this summer to add some firepower to his side’s attack.
The Spaniard knows that his side needs a striker who can get into double figures next season if they are to push for a top ten finish.
Fortunately, Ayoze Perez found his scoring boots towards the end of the season to help the Magpies finish in tenth place.

With the squad he had at his disposal, Benitez was praised for getting the best out of the players and finishing in mid-table, with many expecting them to be in a relegation battle until the very end of the season.
With Leicester City striker Islam Slimani seemingly not keen on a permanent move to St James Park, Benitez needs to look elsewhere and he certainly isn’t short on options.
Scoring goals were not one of Newcastle’s strong points last season as they found the back of the net 39 times in the Premier League, only eight more than bottom-placed West Bromwich Albion.
Below, we take a look at five potential strikers Newcastle could sign this summer.
