Newcastle United goalkeeper Karl Darlow is keen to remain at the club, despite a strong interest in him from Championship side Leeds United, according to The Newcastle Chronicle.
He joined the Magpies back in 2015, but has found it tough to gain a regular run of games, but is hoping make more of an impact next season.
The goalkeeper played a vital role in the season before last, when they won promotion to the Premier League featuring in 34 matches in all competitions.

Last term he was afforded just 12 matches across the various competitions and boss Rafa Benitez has decided to sign Sparta Prague loanee Martin Dubravka in recent days meaning Darlow’s chances will be few and far between.
Darlow, is looking to sign a new contract at the club and sees his long-term future at Newcastle although there is interest from elsewhere.
As a result Leeds will have to look elsewhere for their next goalkeeper.
