Newcastle United forward to remain at the club
Ayoze Perez has recently been linked with a move away from The Magpies this summer. However, Perez himself has reassured Newcastle United fans that he is happy playing under Benitez, report insidefutbol.com.
The Spaniard has been key to Newcastle’s survival this season and was their top goal scorer with seven goals in 36 appearances.
Perez told Radio Marca Tenerife:
To this day I have no plans to leave England.
I am very comfortable at Newcastle and in the Premier League. It is very professional football”, the attacker continued.
I am a little English now.
Perez admits that England is his home away from home. He signed off his season with his first Premier League brace against Chelsea. Perez will look to continue his development at Newcastle United.
This season I ended with the victory against Chelsea on the last day.
My first brace in the Premier League, my family were there, we finished tenth.
It was very special.
Perez, now 24-years-old, joined Newcastle in 2014 from Spanish side Tenerife, helping Newcastle return to the Premier league last season and aiding in their survival this season.
