West Ham are going to approach Rafa Benitez to try and persuade him to Leave Newcastle and take over their vacant manager role.
The Spaniard has done a terrific job at Newcastle this season in their return to the top flight so it is no wonder the ex-Liverpool boss is in high demand.
West Ham are looking to replace David Moyes as he left the Hammers when his short-term deal was not renewed.

According to The Mirror, Benitez is the first choice due to his good relationship with the club as he nearly took on the Hammers job back in 2015, until he decided to take over at Real Madrid instead.
Benitez is apparently annoyed by the lack of funds he is being supplied with to improve his squad this summer and is increasingly getting more annoyed with Mike Ashley.
Benitez has been told this won’t be the case at the London Stadium as they will allow him to spend freely and improve their squad.
If their pursue on Benitez doesn’t work out then they will head back to their target list which has Marco Silva, Manuel Pellegrini and Paulo Fonseca.
