Newcastle United have become the latest club to show an interest in West Brom’s Craig Dawson, reports Football Insider.
The defender is rated at around £15 million by the Baggies as he has shown a lot of consistency in the Premier League over the past few years.
He has played every game in Darren Moore’s unbeaten run as caretaker manager, a spell that has seen Albion concede just three goals in five games, jeeping alive thier slight hopes of staying in the top flight.

However, last night saw those hopes fade away as Southampton beat Swansea to end the Midland club’s eight-year stay in the top flight.
Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez was reportedly impressed with the 28-year-old’s performance during the 1-0 loss for the Spaniard’s team last month, and he has urged owner Mike Ashley to back him in the transfer market this summer as he looks to push the club forward.
The Magpies will face competition from numerous clubs, including Celtic, for Dawson, who can play at centre-back or right-back.
