Rafa Benitez has said that his returning loan players must train with the academy, HITC reports.
The Newcastle manager told the Evening Chronicle that all of his stars that have been sent out on loan, including Jack Colback, will train with the academy and not the first-team when they return to the club.
The Football League is set to finish a week before the Premier League with Colback, Adam Armstrong, Jamie Sterry, Sean Longstaff, Dan Barlaser, and Alex Gilliead all set to return soon.
Aleksander Mitrovic is also out on loan at Championship side Fulham who look set to compete in the play-offs, meaning that he will remain in London for the club’s promotion push.

Benitez spoke of how his first-team training sessions consist of an 11 vs 11 drill, meaning that there will be no room for his returning loan players who will be forced to train with the academy. Benitez told the Evening Chronicle:
Some players will come back. I need to have a meeting with Steve Nickson and Ben Dawson about it. “At the moment we don’t need more bodies because everybody is available.
We even have a problem when we play 11 vs 11 in training because somebody is left out. In terms of competition, it’s difficult for them. As I say we have had to leave a couple of players out of training.
So we can’t bring in more players if we are leaving some out. We have to make sure they (the current first team squad) get minutes in training so they compete in the squad to play.
Newcastle have four games left to play of their Premier League season and currently sit 10th in the table.
