Newcastle United have rejected an £8 million offer from fellow Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion for striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, according to a report from Sky Sports.
They report that Newcastle are unwilling to sell to a club involved in a potential relegation battle with themselves, however, will listen to offers from European clubs for the Serbian.
Mitrovic, 23, has only featured six times in the Premier League this season, and has found regular first team opportunities hard to come by after the arrival of Joselu from Stoke City in the summer.

The Serbian international has featured over 70 times for the Magpies after joining from Anderlecht in 2015, however, looks set for a move away from St James Park.
Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez is desperate to add to his attacking options this month, with his side averaging less than one goal per game since their return to the top flight.
