The Northern Echo reports that Newcastle are close to completing deals to sign creative duo, Kenedy and Dennis Praet from Chelsea and Sampdoria respectively.
After growing frustration from Rafa Benitez and the Newcastle faithful over lack of transfers throughout the summer, like London buses, two now look very likely to come together.
Chelsea’s Brazilian winger, Kenedy, looks like the closest out of the two, with a loan deal being agreed between all parties but head coach, Antonio Conte, doesn’t want to let the Brazilian go until he’s brought in his own new signings.
Praet’s arrival appears to be close as well, with discussions ongoing between the two clubs over the Belgian midfielder who joined the Italian side last season for €10m only last summer from Anderlecht.

Praet started last season at Anderlecht, making two appearances for the Belgian side before making his move to Sampdoria, where he made 34 appearances, scoring just once and assisting once.
Kenedy spent last season on loan at Watford but injuries prevented his progression there and he returned to Chelsea late in the season to aid their title push.
However, he made 20 appearances for Chelsea the season before, mainly from the bench. He scored twice and assisted once during the season where Chelsea struggled under Guus Hiddink and Jose Mourinho.
