Newcastle are at risk of missing out on Benfica and Greece midfielder Andreas Samaris, according to the Mirror.
Rafa Benitez may miss out on Samaris as he will have to pay £17.5 million for the midfielder, meaning the Spaniard will have to re-consider his budget this summer if he wants to capture the Benfica man.
Newcastle and the Portuguese outfit have had talks over Samaris already this summer and they are very interested in signing the Greek international to improve their squad as they embark on their return to the Premier League.

Samaris has two years left on his current deal at Benfica, where he has won the league title with them every year since joining in 2014 from Olympiacos for £8.8 million.
The 28-year-old has bundles of experience, with 225 appearances (28 for the Greek national side) and scoring 12 and assisting 16 in the process. As well as winning three Portuguese league titles, he has won two Portuguese league cups, one Portuguese cup, one Portuguese Super Cup and one Greek league title.
