Newcastle are reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez on a season-long loan.
The 26-year-old is already behind the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale in the pecking order at Madrid and with the arrival of Kylian Mbappe looking likely, he could find himself struggling for any game time at all.
Rafa Benitez is still in the market for another forward player and Vazquez could well fit the bill if the Newcastle boss can pull a few strings at his former club.

Vazquez will have his eyes set on a place in Spain’s squad for the 2018 World Cup but he’s unlikely to be considered if he is not playing regular football so a loan move could appeal to him.
Whether Newcastle can do a deal to get the player still remains to be seen but it would be a good move for all parties if they can.
