Newcastle United are leading the race to sign Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo on loan, according to a report from Jack Pitt-Brooke of The Telegraph.
Liverpool are happy to let Ojo go out on loan to gain vital top-flight experience and whilst Burnley and Middlesbrough are also interested in signing him, the player apparently favours a move to St James’ Park.
Rafa Benitez is keen to add some much-needed pace to his frontline and sees Ojo as the man to bring it to the squad.

The winger hardly featured for the Reds last year due to a combination of injuries and the players ahead of him in the pecking order and it would make sense for both the player and Liverpool to let him go out on loan and develop.
Jurgen Klopp has admitted he isn’t a huge fan of loaning players out but he is apparently keen for Ojo to get a lot of football under his belt, hence why he’s happy to let him go to Newcastle.
