Nottingham Forest midfielder Ben Osborn has confirmed that he does not want to leave the club this summer after there was interest from numerous Premier League clubs, including Newcastle, according to a report on the Nottingham Post.
The 22-year-old midfielder’s impressive performances last season have led to various club’s monitoring his situation at Forest, with Newcastle the most serious suitors.

With the Magpies ready to launch a bid for the English player, he confirmed his intent to continue to play for the Championship club and that he is totally focused on the upcoming season under manager Mark Warburton.
Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez was hoping that Premier League football would entice Osborn to leave Forest and join Newcastle, but the young midfielder is settled at Forest and is getting plenty of game time.

The youngster started 45 Championship games last season and scored four goals. He also showed his creativity and eye for a killer pass as he assisted seven goals as Forest escaped relegation by goal difference.
Benitez is looking to add youth and depth to his squad at St James’ Park as the club look to avoid relegation from the Premier League after winning the Championship last season.
