The 25-year-old keeper will be returning to his native country just 12 months after joining Newcastle from Gent for a fee of £6.5 million and on a five-year contract.
Sels began last season as the starting goalkeeper at St James’ Park and was the preferred choice for manager Rafa Benitez, but then lost his place to Karl Darlow who put in some magnificent performances.

And with fellow keepers Rob Elliot and Tim Krul now available for selection, it was always likely that Sels would be shown the exit door.
The shot-stopper will join Belgian champions Anderlecht and will get the chance to feature in club football’s most elite competition – the UEFA Champions League.
Sels has already passed a medical at the club and the two parties are happy with the transfer, meaning the only thing remaining is the official unveiling which is reported to be happening this afternoon.
