A loan move for Newcastle United midfielder Dan Barlaser has been offered to Besiktas by his representatives, according to a report in Turkish outlet Fotospor.
The 20-year-old represented Turkey at U16 and U17 levels as he qualified due to his father’s nationality, although he has since represented England at U18 level.
Rafa Benitez played Barlaser in the FA Cup but didn’t use him at all in the league and his chances of breaking into the first-team look slim now that the Magpies are back in the Premier League.

The youngster understandably wants to be playing regular first team football and as such, a loan move to Besiktas could make sense for all parties involved.
Newcastle seem to have pretty high hopes for Barlaser but they understand that he needs to get regular first-team action before he’s ready to play Premier League football. Bisects are apparently interested in taking the 20-year-old on loan so a deal could well be done in the very near future.
