Four Newcastle Festive Fixtures Selected For TV

Over the Festive period, Sky Sports have selected  to live broadcast four of Newcastle United’s Championship fixtures.

As a result of this, Newcastle’s away matches against Nottingham Forest, Wigan Athletic and Blackburn Rovers have been rescheduled, whilst the visit of Sheffield Wednesday to St James’ Park on Boxing day will be moved to an evening kick-off.

Newcastle were originally scheduled to play Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Saturday 3rd December. However, they will now play on Friday 2nd December at 7.45 pm.

The Magpie’s away match against Wigan Athletic has been moved back 24 hours and, therefore, it will now kick off on Wednesday 14th December at 7.45 pm.

Newcastle’s home match on Boxing Day against Sheffield Wednesday has been rescheduled from the traditional 3 pm slot to 7.45 pm.

The Magpie’s first match of the New Year away to Blackburn on the 2nd of January will now kick off at 3 pm instead of the original time of 7.45 pm

The games against Birmingham City (H) on the 10th December,  Burton Albion (A) on the 17th December and Nottingham Forest (H) on the 31st December remain unaltered.

Ticket information will be released soon.
