The Premier League season came to a dramatic climax just last month and already the back pages are filled with transfer rumours. Newcastle United have been linked to a number of players already and the transfer window hasn’t even opened yet.

Rafa Benitez has decided to cancel his holiday as he looks to restructure the club and work on drawing up a short-list of players that he thinks will not only have the ability to take us back up to the Premier League at the first time of asking, but be able to cut it in the top tier next season.
Rafa reportedly wants to bring in at least six new players, and it is believed that he wants these players to have a mixture of Championship experience, ability to help the squad instantly and show the character that the squad clearly lacked this season. The Chronicle has also reported that Benitez is more than willing to dive into the loan market.
