Newcastle midfielder Sylvain Marveaux could be set for a second loan spell away from the Magpies, with former club EA Guingamp weighing up a move.
According to French media outlet L’Equipe, Guingamp want the 29-year-old to return for another spell under Jocelyn Gourvennec.
Marveaux arrived on Tyneside back in 2011 from Stade Rennais, and many fans expected the Frenchman to set the league alight.

But, since his arrival, Marveaux has been in and out of United’s team, and he has now been completely isolated from matchday squads.
He has made 38 appearances for Newcastle, most of them from off the bench, scoring only one goal which came against Maritimo in the Europa League.

Marveaux is one of many players expected to leave the club this month, with Mike Williamson and Yoan Gouffran also deemed surplus to requirements.
It is believed that owner Mike Ashley wants to sell players before bringing any in this month, much to the unpopular opinion of the Geordie faithful.
