Former Newcastle midfielder Kieron Dyer has arrived in Australia to partake in ITV’s hit reality TV show “I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here,” according to Digital Spy.
Since retiring from football in 2013, Dyer has obviously found he has a lot of time on his hands and, rather than going into coaching or management, he has decided to become a reality TV star.
The 36-year-old had a very successful footballing career – playing at the highest level for both club and country. His most successful period was during his seven-year spell on Tyneside, where he managed 250 appearances – including over thirty European games.
One of the most memorable Kieron Dyer moments came in 2005, when he and fellow Newcastle teammate Lee Bowyer started an on-pitch brawl. As a result, the pair were both sent off, leaving the Magpies down to eight men (as Steven Taylor had already been dismissed).
Following the news of Dyer’s entry into the jungle, we have decided to make a Jungle XI.
