Newcastle United have endured a difficult start to the season, but they finally secured victory in their last outing, with a trip to the Premier League’s bottom side up next – though form guides tend to be thrown out the window when it comes to the Wear-Tyne derby.
There is plenty for the Geordie faithful to be negative about at the moment, stemming from our league position and disappointing early exit from the Capital One Cup, but there is some promise.
