# Four Newcastle Fixture Changes That Fans Need to Know

Newcastle United’s autumn calendar has already had several revisions. The trip to Coventry City moved from Saturday to Monday, the Aston Villa kick-off changed, and Crystal Palace’s European commitments pushed another match back by a day.

There is also a Monday night home fixture against Everton coming in November. Jaissle’s players now face a different sequence of rest days, while supporters have new dates to work around.

## Keeping Track of Newcastle’s Match Dates

Newcastle confirmed four changes to its October and November schedule for television coverage. The Coventry and Everton games now have 8pm starts on Mondays. Villa and Palace remain weekend fixtures, with both selected for Sky Sports.

A change of date also affects when bookmakers list a match and update its odds. On platforms offering both sports betting and casino games, these are handled in separate sections. The distinction is visible on Estonian services too, where online casinos (Estonian: [internetikasiino](https://vivatbet.ee/en/casino)) have their own game catalogues, while football markets carry fixture times and betting options.

Coventry’s original Saturday match became a Monday night fixture. For travelling Newcastle fans, that meant a weekday journey rather than a weekend trip. The Palace game moved back by one day.

## Four Dates Newcastle Had to Change

The club confirmed the amendments in August, giving supporters revised kick-off times well before October. The revised dates appeared in [Newcastle United’s official fixture announcement](https://www.newcastleunited.com/en/news/four-magpies-fixtures-rescheduled-in-october-and-november):

- Coventry City away: Originally Saturday, 10 October. The new date was Monday the 12th, kicking off at 8pm.
- Aston Villa at home: Still on 17 October, but with a 5.30pm start rather than 3pm.
- Crystal Palace away: Selhurst Park would host Newcastle on Sunday, 25 October, a day later than first scheduled. Kick-off was set for 2pm.
- Everton at home: Saturday, 31 October became Monday, 2 November, at 8pm.

All four were selected for Sky Sports coverage. Palace’s Thursday-to-Sunday turnaround following European football was a factor in moving Newcastle’s visit to Selhurst Park.

## A Villa Defeat Before the Palace Trip

Newcastle entered the October international break after wins against Leeds United and Hull City. Jaissle’s team then beat Coventry 4-1 away before Aston Villa visited St James’ Park.

Villa won that match 1-0 on 17 October. Newcastle used a 4-2-3-1, with Yoane Wissa up front and Harvey Barnes among the attacking players. Lewis Miley featured in defence, alongside Malick Thiaw, Sven Botman and Lewis Hall.

The Palace fixture is next, on Sunday, 25 October. Selhurst Park’s away section is in the Arthur Wait Stand, with turnstiles opening at noon for the 2pm kick-off.

## Everton Brings Another Monday Night

The Everton match has moved into November, leaving Newcastle with two Monday league fixtures inside three weeks. After Everton, United travel to Fulham on 7 November before Arsenal visit St James’ Park on 21 November.

Jaissle will have decisions to make across those matches, particularly if injuries limit his options. The Villa defeat also interrupted a run of positive league results.

Newcastle’s published schedule remains the place to check before making travel arrangements. The next two home games now fall on a Monday evening and a Saturday afternoon, respectively.
