# Fans on social media laud ‘solid’ Martin Dubravka for ‘fantastic’ performance

Newcastle United finally picked up their first win of the season on Saturday, [beating Burnley 1-0 at St James’ Park](https://www.nufc.co.uk/matches/first-team/2021-22/newcastle-united-v-burnley/), and Martin Dubravka was one of many players that came away with praise for his performance. The 32-year-old kept his first clean sheet of the campaign since his return from injury and was given a player rating of 8/10 by [Chronicle Live](https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-burnley-player-ratings-almiron-22365913).

Dubravka had been out of action with a foot injury until the end of October and sat on the bench for a few games before getting the nod between the sticks         at the end of November. The Slovakian international has started Newcastle’s last three Premier League outings and was lauded on [social media](https://twitter.com/search?q=martin%20dubravka&src=typed_query&f=live) by supporters for his latest showing.

> Dubravka + Wilson + a decent amount of luck = might see us alright. It was always going to be these three, no matter the manager, no matter the owner [#NUFC](https://twitter.com/hashtag/NUFC?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)

> The [#nufc](https://twitter.com/hashtag/nufc?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) defensive unit is starting to look a bit more robust. Dubravka, Manquillo, Lascelles and Lewis all looked more organised and solid against Burnley. \
