Allan Saint-Maximin played a full 90 minutes as Newcastle United lost 3-0 to Chelsea on Saturday, but he appears to have gotten over the defeat if his Instagram story is anything to go by. The 24-year-old spent his free time playing tennis and posted a number of videos of the game.

Saint-Maximin looked full of energy in the videos and clearly has experience playing tennis, so it looks like a second passion outside of football. The uncapped French forward regularly posts on social media to keep fans updated with his activities, but many may be surprised to see him playing tennis so well.
Footballers often take part in a second sport that doesn’t require them to run as much so they can rest their legs after a game, but Saint-Maximin didn’t seem fazed by the extra workout. He’s had a hand in five goals from 10 Premier League games this season and is one of the first names on the teamsheet.
Newcastle’s defeat to Chelsea left them 19th in the table with four points from a possible 30. The Magpies, who are still winless in the league, next face Brighton & Hove Albion on November 6.
