Paul Dummett, Allan Saint-Maximin and Federico Fernandez have posted on social media since Newcastle United confirmed their takeover and Martin Dubravka is now the latest to have his say on his Instagram story.
The Magpies announced on Thursday that Saudi-led group Public Investment Fund (PIF), PCP Capital Partners and RB Sports & Media completed the acquisition of Newcastle and Dubravka believes the club are now in safe hands.
The 32-year-old hasn’t made an appearance for Newcastle this season as he’s been sidelined with a foot injury. Near the end of August, Steve Bruce said he was expecting Dubravka back in eight weeks, so he might be seen after the international break.
Freddie Woodman and Karl Darlow have picked up the pieces while the Slovakian international has been out of action, but it remains to be seen how many survivors there will be come next summer.
Newcastle are now the richest club in the world and are sure to upgrade every position in the squad, so Dubravka needs to be playing to prove his worth to the new owners – he’s excited for the future and will want to be part of the project.
