Newcastle’s draw at Watford sees them move out of the relegation zone. The Magpies are now 17th in the Premier League table with three points from a possible 18. They’re still without a win from their first six games but have lost only one of their previous four.

Next up for Steve Bruce’s men is a trip to Molineux to face Wolverhampton Wanderers. As for Fernandez, the Argentine international has made [four Premier League appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/federico-fernandez/leistungsdaten/spieler/85475) this season.

He was an unused substitute in Newcastle’s 4-1 defeat to Manchester United and 1-1 draw with Leeds United but was reinstated as captain against Watford and played his part in the Toon Army earning a point.

Fabian Schar was on the bench against the Hornets, so Bruce isn’t short on centre-back options going into the Wolves meeting.
