Andy Carroll was an unused substitute in Newcastle United’s 4-2 win over Leicester City and has only amassed one minute of Premier League football since mid-March, but he’s not letting the lack of playing time get him down.
The 32-year-old posted pictures on his Instagram stories of him working out in a gym with his wife and shared two images of his children at an Italian restaurant in Loughton.

Carroll worked out at Billy Stanley Fitness in Chigwell with wife Billi Mucklow. He then spent time at Quindici with three of their children and joked about the daughter taking after Andy with a pint of beer in her hand.
It’s good to see the 32-year-old in good spirits, but he can’t escape his uncertain future at Newcastle. Carroll is out of contract at the end of the season and hasn’t been offered an extension.
He’s made 21 appearances in all competitions in 2020/21 but has only amassed 581 minutes of football. Carroll has started just six games across the board and has spent most of his time out of the matchday squad or on the bench.
