Newcastle fans react to shock reports of Bruce and Ritchie incident

A number of Newcastle United supporters have been reacting to the latest report from the Daily Mail that outlines a potential falling out between Steve Bruce and Matt Ritchie in training.

The report outlines that Ritchie was frustrated with comments made by Bruce over the goal the Magpies conceded in the 1-1 draw against Wolves on Saturday. The Newcastle boss suggested that the Scotland international did not pass on tactical instructions to the players when he came on and as a result, Jacob Murphy was not in the right position when Wolves scored their goal.

It is believed that there was an argument between both Bruce and Ritchie on the training ground on Tuesday. It is reported that Ritchie labelled the Newcastle boss a ‘coward’ during the altercation. The bust-up is believed to have stunned the rest of the squad.

This is something that could have major implications and it will be interesting to see what happens with regards to Bruce’s future if these latest reports are accurate.
