Arsenal join the race to sign Allan Saint-Maximin
Arsenal have joined the list of clubs who are lining up a move for Newcastle United forward Allan Saint-Maximin, according to a report from Le Sport 10.
Last week, the Frenchman was linked with moves to both Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham, and now it looks like The Gunners have joined the list of clubs keeping tabs on the Magpies’ stat.
Saint-Maximin joined Newcastle from Nice last August and has been one of the better players in Steve Bruce’s squad as he’s helped solidify the club’s Premier League status for another season with four goals and seven assists in all competitions.

Unfortunately, clubs not playing Europa League or Champions League football are always at risk of losing their better players as footballers will often want to continue their careers playing at the highest possible level.
Steve Bruce has already made it clear that he wants to keep Saint-Maximin and that he’s confident of doing so. If the proposed takeover of Newcastle goes through then the club will hopefully be able to resist offers for their best players but if it doesn’t, then the chances of Saint-Maximin leaving may well increase.
