Newcastle boss Steve Bruce hopes to have up to eight injured players back available to him when his side face Arsenal this weekend, according to Express Sport.
The Magpies are set to travel to the Emirates on Sunday as both sides return from their respective winter breaks, with both clubs sitting on the same points total in the Premier League table.
Both clubs have 31 points after 25 games, and a win for either side could see them climb as high as 10th, with ninth place Wolves currently four points clear.
Luckily for the away side on this occasion, Newcastle may have a number of injured players back and ready to feature against the Gunners, after a small injury crisis had previously depleted the club’s attacking options.
Express Sport reveal that up to eight players could be back available for selection, although they don’t provide the rundown on who those players might be.

Should Bruce have that many players back available to him against the Gunners, it could prove pivotal as the Magpies hope to end their back-to-back winless run in the Premier League.
Jack Colback, Paul Dummett and Jetro Willems are definitely not included in Bruce’s eight, with all three out with serious long-term injuries.
However, Jonjo Shelvey, Miguel Almiron, Joelinton, Dwight Gayle, Yoshinori Muto and Andy Carroll could be potential candidates to return, at least Express Sport speculate as such, and any number of those would surely add to Bruce’s firepower against the Gunners.
Newcastle have only managed four goals in the Premier League since the New Year, with two of those being scored in two minutes by a centre-back, Florian Lejeune, against Everton.
As such, they could really profit from further strength in the goalscoring department, and a number of injuries could really aid that.
