Newcastle fans would love to see Salomon Rondon back at St James’ Park, amid rumours of a Premier League return for the player.
According to Guillem Balague, both Newcastle and Man United were among the teams in England hoping to strike a deal for the player.
Unfortunately for his potential suitors, Balague adds that Dalian Yifang are not willing to let the Venezuelan forward leave.
Rondon was a firm favourite during his time at St James’ Park and it’s not the first time that some supporters have been calling for him to make a return.
The Times reported that the striker could be available this month after the Chinese Super League took the decision to cancel the start of their season following the recent developments with the coronavirus disease.
