Spurs fans react as Rose tells Levy he wants to quit ahead of Newcastle loan

Newcastle have agreed a deal with Tottenham for left-back Danny Rose.

According to Sky Sports, the Magpies will sign the 29-year-old on loan for the rest of the season.

The report also claims that there is no option or obligation to make the move permanent right now, with Rose still having 18 months left on his current deal.

Football Insider revealed on Wednesday that the defender told Daniel Levy he wanted to quit before the end of the week, which had plenty of Spurs fans fuming on social media.

The report reveals Rose made it clear to Levy he wanted out in north London, and he now looks set to get his wish by moving to St James’ Park.

Rose has only made 12 league appearances this season and has been absent from Jose Mourinho’s squad in six of the last eight matches.

And when well-known Tottenham reporter @RickSpur shared Football Insider‘s report on social media, these Spurs supporters were quick to react.
