Ake wary of ‘very dangerous’ Joelinton
AFC Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake has labelled Newcastle United striker as “very dangerous” ahead of their Premier League clash later today.
Joelinton became the Magpies’ record signing when he arrived to St James’ Park in a £40m deal from Hoffenheim.
He has struggled to adapt to the pace of the Premier League but Ake is still wary of the threat that he poses.
As quoted on the Bournemouth Echo, the centre-back said:
So far he [Joelinton] has been a threat. He is very dangerous, tall and strong.
It will be a challenge but we will prepare for that.
Can this be the match where Joelinton shines?

The Brazilian has one goal and one assist in the top flight so far this season which is disappointing when compared to his price tag.
However, he’s strong in the air and is a nuisance for opposition defenders, all he needs now is some good service from the players around him.
He’s a target man and this matchup against Ake looks intriguing on paper. We’ll have to see who gets the upper hand later today.
