Newcastle are reportedly interested in a deal to sign Inter Milan forward Wilfried Gnonto in the January transfer window.
According to Sport Witness, via The Chronicle, Newcastle and Arsenal are both keen on the young forward.
The report claims that Inter are aware of the interest from Arsenal and Newcastle, but it does not say how open they are to a deal.

Gnonto has already scored three goals in four caps for Italy at under-17 level, despite being 15, which shows that he has plenty of promise. He is yet to make his senior debut for Inter, of course, but has scored two goals in two games for their youth side this season.
He must be impressing in order to catch the eye of Premier League clubs and be capped by Italy at such a young age. This means that he is a prospect for the future and could be a good investment for Newcastle if they managed to bring him over to England.
The best way for Newcastle to plan for the future is to invest in youth and attempt to bring through more prospects into the first-team, like Matty and Sean Longstaff. Signing a talented Italian youth international would be a signal of intent from Newcastle that they are willing to back their academy and progress as a club going forward.
