Should Newcastle sign him?

No. He is 34 and not played in a top five league since the 2015/16 season for Newcastle, as he scored four in 21 games, and would have no resale value due to his age.
Newcastle have already re-signed one former striker in Andy Carroll, who is injured yet again, and there is no point in bringing yet another one back. It is time for the club to invest in young talent and look to foreign leagues in an attempt to unearth the next Teemu Pukki or Raul Jimenez to fire them up the table.
As good as Cisse was in his early days for Newcastle, it has been over four years and so much has changed since then. It is best to leave it in the past and start looking to the future.
