Newcastle have been touted with a possible move for in-form Lille striker Victor Osimhen in the January transfer window.
The Chronicle claim that Newcastle have been keeping tabs on Osimhen and are considering him as a potential target in January as they look to bolster their squad.
Osimhen has been in fine form for Lille this season, with eight goals in 11 games in all competitions – including seven in Ligue 1 already.
Newcastle, meanwhile, have managed – collectively – five goals in nine Premier League matches. Club-record signing Joelinton has scored one goal in nine games, which was the winner against Tottenham in August.
