Newcastle travel to London to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League this weekend.

Despite a huge 1-0 win over Manchester United before the international break, the club have revealed that their away allocation for Stamford Bridge has not yet sold out.

READ NEWCASTLE VERDICT

There is clearly becoming a lack of interest from some fans in regards to going to matches this season. Attendance numbers are dropping, whilst performances on the pitch are as inconsistent as ever – with just two wins in eight Premier League matches this season.

The reason behind it could be a number of things, whether it be Mike Ashley’s ownership, Steve Bruce’s management or the players currently at the club. What will entice fans into coming? More impressive results on the pitch, surely…

matchday.
