Wijnaldum was sensational that day, scoring four times from midfield for Newcastle during the win. The Dutch midfielder, who currently plays for Liverpool, may well have produced the best individual performance by a Newcastle player in the Premier League in the past decade.
Newcastle, unfortunately, were relegated from the Premier League that season – along with Norwich – but the fans clearly still look back at the game with fond memories. Steve Bruce will be hoping to create some similar memories this season, without the relegation on top of it.
