Newcastle manager Steve Bruce has claimed that the club will begin plans for the January transfer window in the coming weeks.
Bruce has, however, said that it is a difficult window to bring players in – given that it is midway through the campaign.

Steve Bruce is clearly already starting to think about what he might want in the January window, but it is a tough time to bring players in – as he said. Clubs do not want to sell their best players with half of the season left to play, which makes signing quality hard in January.
Newcastle will, of course, have their transfer targets, though. It will be interesting to see which areas of the squad Bruce is looking to strengthen, given that his side have only scored five goals in eight Premier League games so far this season.
