These Newcastle fans react to Bruce’s comments on Chelsea youngsters

Newcastle face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League this weekend, with the hosts coming into the game in fine form.

Chelsea have won their last four games in all competitions, scoring 15 goals, against Grimsby, Lille, Brighton and Southampton.

Ahead of the game, Steve Bruce has praised Chelsea’s young talent and said that they have always been a big team in the league.

Frank Lampard has handed some of Chelsea’s academy stars chances this season in the Premier League and it appears to be working for him. Tammy Abraham is the joint-top scorer in the division with eight goals in eight games so far, whilst Mason Mount has managed four goals in eight games from midfield.

Newcastle will need to keep a close eye on both of them, along with the likes of Jorginho, Willian and Pedro, if they are to be in with a chance of picking up a result this weekend. Bruce has put his own faith in youngsters, Sean and Matty Longstaff, and will be hoping that his players can compete against the best.

matchday.
