Chelsea will still be without Antonio Rudiger for Saturday’s game against Newcastle United.

Simon Johnson of The Athletic has revealed that the German defender won’t be fit enough to feature.

Rudiger has been working his way back to full fitness and there had been some hope that he could play some part against the Magpies, but that will not be the case and Steve Bruce’s side must take advantage.

Chelsea have been very poor from set-pieces this season, with Lampard’s side generally looking a bit frail at the back.

This could really work in Newcastle’s favour and Joelinton has a great opportunity to cause some havoc against the Blues.

Chelsea have already conceded 14 goals this season, only Southampton, Norwich and Watford have let in more.

Steve Bruce knows that the chances will come for his side, if they can remain patient and try to frustrate the Blues, there could be more than a few openings for them at Stamford Bridge.
