Former Celtic and Norwich striker Chris Sutton has lambasted Newcastle midfielder Miguel Almiron after his recent booking for diving.
Almiron was sent off for Paraguay last week for simulation, having also been booked against Manchester United for Newcastle the weekend before for the same offence.
Sutton has hit out at the attacking midfielder, saying that he has more dives than goals this season.

Should Almiron be dropped by Steve Bruce when Premier League action returns?
Yes. Newcastle face Chelsea next and the last thing they need is more wastefulness in front of goal from Almiron, along with his diving. Almiron could benefit from a spell on the sidelines, with his goal draught clearly affecting his confidence.
The fact that he is being forced to dive instead of attempt to score or assist himself says it all. He needs to spend some time away from the starting XI and work hard on the training pitch to improve, so that Newcastle can see the player he is capable of being.
