Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly expecting Newcaslte to pay £10m to sign Jetro Willems permanently next summer.
According to German outlet Bild, via Sport Witness, Newcastle have agreed a £10m deal with Frankfurt and the Bundesliga side are expecting to recieve the fee considering his impressive start to the season.
This is despite reports earlier in the week claiming that Newcastle are able to sign him for less than £6m.

Is it still a bargain?

When the reports of a £6m deal came out, we at Read Newcastle claimed that it would be a bargain. Does this update change anything? No.
Even though the price appears to now be £4m dearer, it would still be a bargain if Newcastle go through with the deal. £10m for an international left-back who has proven he can perform at Premier League level is a snip, however you want to look at it.
When you also consider that he is only 25 and approaching his prime years, Newcastle could be set to pull off a real coup in the transfer market. This is if Willems continues to prove his worth and signs on the dotted line to remain in England next summer.
