Given his impressive performances so far, it is hard to argue against the fee being a bargain. Willems has managed one goal and one assist from wing-back for Newcastle in the Premier League, with a further assist in the League Cup as well.
The Dutch defender will be looking to nail down his place on the left, especially with Matt Ritchie returning from injury towards the end of the month. If he can continue to impress and turn in good performances at wing-back, Newcastle will surely make his deal permanent at the end of the season when his loan expires.
