Newcastle lept out of the relegation zone on Sunday as they beat Manchester United 1-0 at St. James’ Park.
19-year-old midfielder Matty Longstaff scored the winner in the 72nd minute as he rifled the ball in from distance to secure the three points.
After the game, Fabian Schar took to Twitter to wish Newcastle fans a great week.

Schar was superb, yet again, at the back as he helped Newcastle record their third clean sheet of the Premier League season.
The Swiss international made a number of crucial clearances and blocks to keep Manchester United at bay. One in particular, to prevent Marcus Rashford from having a tap-in at the back post, was one of the biggest moments in the game.
If Schar can continue this form, Newcastle will have an excellent chance at avoiding relegation back down to the Championship.
