Newcastle face Manchester United at St. James’ Park later today as they look to push themselves out of the bottom three.
Steve Bruce’s side have won one of their first seven matches in the league and are currently 19th in the table.
According to Daily Mail journalist Craig Hope, Matty Longstaff is poised to make his full Premier League debut in the starting XI.

READ NEWCASTLE VERDICT
Newcastle need a good performance to head into the international break with something to build on, after a poor start to the campaign. Starting an inexperienced central midfielder at home to Manchester United does not appear to be the best idea, on paper.
There will be a lot of pressure on his shoulders to perform and if Newcastle are heavily beaten, it could destroy his confidence at such an early age. It would be wise of Steve Bruce to call on his experienced heads in the middle of the park, in order to limit Manchester United as much as possible.
