Newcastle were torn apart last weekend as they were hammered 5-0 by Leicester at The King Power Stadium.
Jamie Vardy scored twice, with an own goal from Paul Dummett and strikes from Wilfred Ndidi and Ricardo Pereira rounding off the scoring.
Speaking after the game, Dummett said that the players have to accept criticism, as the performance simply wasn’t good enough.

Dummett was right to come out and take the blame, as there is no hiding away from the performance last week. The players were far from good enough, as Leicester swept them aside with ease.
However, there is far more to it than just some poor individual displays. The owner and the manager have to take a certain amount of blame for allowing the club to get into this position.
One win and four goals scored after seven games in the Premier League is abysmal for a club of Newcastle’s stature. Steve Bruce needs to find a solution, and quickly, or relegation could be a real possibility.
