Newcastle currently sit 19th in the Premier League table after seven games of the season.
Steve Bruce’s side have won once and scored just four goals in the league, leaving them in the relegation zone as it stands.
It has also led to bookmakers putting them down as relegation favourites, along with the likes of Watford, Aston Villa, Brighton and Norwich.

If Newcastle continue to perform the way they have done over the first couple of months of the campaign, there is no doubting that they will be in serious trouble come the end of the season.
The results, and performances, have simply not been good enough and Steve Bruce has to take a fraction of the blame. However, the players have also been underperforming and need to step up if they are to avoid relegation from the Premier League next summer.
