Newcastle currently have nine players out on loan spells away from the club at this moment in time.
Of those nine, seven failed to register a single minute of first-team action over the weekend as their loan clubs opted against using them.

It is Ameobi’s job to find the best possible loan moves for the players looking for temporary exits from the club. If they are failing to gain sufficient experience out on loan, which appears to be the case, then he may not be suited to the role.
However, we are still in the early stages of the season and it may just be a case of the players settling in at their new clubs before nailing down a place in the side and cracking on for the rest of the year.
