Newcastle’s under-23 side fell to another defeat this week as they lost 1-0 to Swansea at home.
With the first-team currently struggling, the under-23 team seem to be following in a similar vein.

Whilst academy results are not the end of the world, it is concerned that both the first-team and the under-23 side seem to be struggling. Positives appear few and far between at the club at this moment in time and fans seem to be taking notice.
The sooner Steve Bruce is able to find a way to get the best out of his side in the Premier League, the better. After just one win in seven games so far, Newcastle need to pick up their form or they will be in a serious scrap for relegation.
