Newcastle dropped to 19th in the Premier League table over the weekend as they lost 5-0 to Leicester at The King Power.
After the game, Steve Bruce spoke to the media and made a strange claim that he has “never seen Almiron yet” despite him playing every match this season.

More strange comments from Bruce after another defeat for Newcastle, it’s becoming somewhat of a recurring theme this season. When he joined the club he surely would have watched tapes on all of the players in the squad in order to familiarise himself with them, not to mention the seven starts Almiron has made in the league so far.
Maybe it was just a slip of the tongue from Bruce, but it is quite worrying if it wasn’t. Bruce does not appear to know his players or his best team and it’s showing on the pitch – with one win in seven games.
